About Me
Hi, my name is Tracy and I am a certified health and wellness coach. My daughter, Emme and I were diagnosed with celiac/NCGS in 2009 (and officially finalized for her in 2019). We love to travel to new places and we love to eat. As a health and wellness coach, I am an advocate of eating healthy 80% of the time and enjoying life's indulgences 20% of the time. Usually traveling involves finding those gluten free indulgences.

I graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelors in Special Education. I taught resource and then went into pharmaceutical sales for seventeen years. It was during that time that I learned the allergies, skin sensitivities, migraines, and GI issues all were linked to what I was eating. I left the pharmaceutical industry in 2017, on a mission to help others regain control of their health and their finances. As a result, I developed Healthy Happy Momzy. I was already partnered with a health and wellness company that was supplementing the cut in pay I had taken as the industry moved to contract reps and felt God was calling me to work from home, be present for my daughter, and share with others all that I had learned on our journey to help other people learn to stay off of prescription medicines by understanding lifestyle modifications, and yes, teach them how to do it while not going broke.

I got certified as a Health and Wellness Coach, validating everything that I had learned doing my own research and this is a huge passion of mine. As a mom with a daughter who also has to eat gluten free, I implement the 80/20 rule of healthy eating. Gluten is never a part of our equation because of our history. Gluten free pre-made foods if you haven't yet learned are most often higher in sugar than their counterparts, due to rice flour, potato starch, and often more sugar to adjust for taste, so while we focus on healthy eating at home, I try to limit our indulgences to outings and travel. I am fairly sure I was born with a sugar spoon in my mouth instead of the silver spoon, so yep, I feel your pain and work through this too. I love helping others see the possibilities navigating through this journey and feel blessed to work from home and have a flexible schedule for myself, my daughter, and my amazing man, who also happens to have a career with a non traditional schedule.
